Syracuse officials seek court order to take over demolition of huge crumbling warehouse

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse officials are seeking a judge’s approval to take over the demolition of a large crumbling brick warehouse that this summer had been ordered torn down.
Bricks from the seven-story warehouse have fallen on the streets below. The building looms over Erie Boulevard West and West Street, two busy downtown streets.
